NCART will change when it distributes its newsletter as well as plans to improve communication

On Friday, March 8 the National Coalition for Assistive & Rehab Technology (NCART) announced it will launch a new newsletter theme along with additional news on how it plans to improve communication. The newsletter will move from the end to the beginning of the month. It will also send out a bi-weekly update, scheduled to begin Wednesday, March 20. 

NCART also said it added a new marketing resource, Barry Steelman. 

Tyler Mahncke, current vice president of U.S. Rehab, will take over leading

WATERLOO, Iowa—Greg Packer of U.S. Rehab has announced his retirement as president, effective at the end of 2023.

Packer will still maintain his relationship with VGM on a consulting basis through at least 2024 and will maintain his position as the current president of the National Coalition For Assistive & Rehab Technology (NCART).

(September 24, 2020)—The National Coalition for Assistive and Rehab Technology (NCART) announced the results of the elections of its officers and board of directors for the 2020-2022 term. The elected officers are President—Chris Yule of Travis Medical; Vice President—Greg Packer of U.S. Rehab; Treasurer—Seth Johnson of Quantum Rehab; and Secretary—Alexis Ward of National Seating & Mobility.

(May 10, 2018)—Applying steady pressure to pass two pieces of targeted legislation, complex rehab technology stakeholders joined recently for the 2018 National CRT Leadership and Advocacy Conference in Washington. (June 26, 2017)—The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) today announced that accessories for Group 3 power Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) mobility products will continue to remain exempt from the application of competitive bidding derived pricing for Medicare beneficiaries.
