Meet the Editors
Cahaba Media Group's Content Policy
At Cahaba Media Group (HomeCare's parent company), our editors work with a variety of contributors to gather, write and produce timely, accurate and relevant content for our audiences across all our brands. We are privileged to work with industry experts and veterans in each of the markets in which we operate.
To ensure transparency, accuracy and relevance, every piece of content we publish on our platforms is researched, reported and written by a vetted contributor or industry expert and goes through multiple rounds of edits by our team before being published. When errors happen or a mistake is made in our content, we take it seriously. The brand’s editor will review the error, correct it in all instances whenever possible, and determine whether a formal statement of correction is necessary.
CMG’s Editorial Policy on Artificial Intelligence
Our approach to using artificial intelligence (AI) is simple: it is a great tool for improving and optimizing content, but never a replacement for insightful, quality content written and edited by a human.
Our editors will never use AI tools to create or write exclusive content published under a CMG brand. We will also continue to communicate this expectation with our contributors and writers, and we will do everything within our power to thoroughly vet the content we publish to verify a human was responsible for the creation and editing of that content.
In any instance where AI is used to create content or artwork for our products, Cahaba Media Group will include an editor’s note or other attribution clearly identifying the use of AI for creation or production. Any use of AI by our editorial and design teams will be guided by an intent to better serve our audience.
