CHICAGO—PurposeCare, a provider of coordinated homecare and home health services in the Midwest, announced Ann O’Heir as the new vice president of clinical operations. Formed in December 2021 with the acquisition of Indiana-based Purpose Home Health, PurposeCare provides home-based care services to more than 3,000 clients a month.

WATERLOO, Iowa—HOMELINK announced that Kim Radcliffe has joined its senior leadership team as senior vice president of clinical and product strategy. Radcliffe brings more than 16 years of experience in the workers' compensation arena, with a background in physical therapy. During her career, she has held leadership roles in clinical program development, network development and operations.


DALLAS—AccentCare, a provider of post-acute care, and Sound Physicians, a provider of telehealth and physician services, released the results of a case-control study that leveraged telehealth during the Public Health Emergency (PHE). The two organizations collaborated on a solution to utilize technology to enhance home health care access for patients without a local physician during the COVID-19 pandemic.


NEW YORK—Equiva Health, a digital patient engagement and health relationship management solution provider, announced a new partnership with wireless internet service provider Infiniti Mobile, as well as the launch of its new Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). Through this offering, Equiva and Infiniti will collaborate to serve as a catalyst in helping hospitals, nursing homes, insurers and other health care organizations advance enrollment in ACP and in helping these entities.


MCLEAN, Virginia—ShiftMed, one of the largest W-2 health care workforce management marketplaces, has raised $200 million in investment to expand its national footprint.

"ShiftMed is positioned to provide health systems with a regulatory compliant W-2 solution that leverages local and part-time resources."

LANDSDOWNE, Pennsylvania—Affectionate Home Health Care Services LLC, a homecare agency providing non-medical care in the home, will pay more than $2.3 million in back wages under a consent judgment, the U.S. Department of Labor reports. 

A federal investigation found that the company willfully shortchanged nearly 400 employees on overtime, the department said in a news release.
