MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota—Health technology company MatrixCare was awarded the 2023 Best in KLAS: Software & Services designation by KLAS Research for its Home Health EHR solution in two categories.

This year’s honorary recognition marks the company’s fourth consecutive win for Home Health—Independent—Large category, receiving a score of 81.2. It also received its first win in the Home Health—Independent—Small category, with a score of 83, according to the Best in KLAS Software and Services report.

“It’s an honor to receive recognition once again by KLAS Research for MatrixCare’s top-performing solutions for home health and hospice providers as we continue to enhance the patient/provider experience across the care continuum,” said Matt Mellott, general manager of MatrixCare’s Home Health and Hospice Division.

Best in KLAS award winners are determined and recognized annually and are based on healthcare provider surveys and interviews conducted by KLAS researchers. The scores for these awards are predicated on the companies’ current and future outlooks, as well as their product pipelines. Software providers are evaluated on six key categories: culture, operations, product, relationship, value and loyalty.

MatrixCare’s EHR solution for home health and hospice providers offers functionalities that help them intuitively boost efficiencies, simplify data-sharing and close gaps with interoperability capabilities. In addition to becoming the first post-acute care provider to embed voice-recognition technology into its EHR, MatrixCare continues to advance its analytics solution to help home-based care organizations identify and monitor metrics key to the management, advancement and growth of their business—a tool it believes has proven critical throughout the pandemic.

“As the need for home-based care continues to rise, we remain firmly committed to empowering post-acute organizations by providing them access to reliable, purpose-built technologies that boost productivity, elevate care quality and most importantly, improve patient outcomes,” Mellott said.

MatrixCare will be awarded its honors at the HIMSS 2023 annual conference on Monday, April 17.
