CAIRE Closes Purchase of MGC

BALL GROUND, Georgia—CAIRE Inc., a global manufacturer of oxygen therapy and on-site generation systems, has finalized the acquisition of St. Paul, Minnesota-based MGC Diagnostics Holdings, Inc. (MGC). This acquisition strengthens CAIRE’s position and focus on diagnostic technologies — furthering expanding its expertise in serving patients throughout the progression of pulmonary disease, the company said in a news release.

BALL GROUND, Georgia (November 29, 2022)—CAIRE Inc., a subsidiary of NGK SPARK PLUG CO., LTD., announced plans to acquire St. Paul, Minnesota-based MGC Diagnostics Holdings, Inc. (MGC). MGC designs, develops, manufactures, and markets non-invasive cardiorespiratory diagnostic systems, accessories, and consumables for the detection, classification, and management of cardiorespiratory disease. The acquisition will close by the end of the year.

CAIRE Expands Offerings in Brazil

The Companion 5 and NewLife Intensity 10 stationary oxygen concentrators are expected to launch in July, following an anticipated approval by the Brazilian Health Regularity Agency (Anvisa).

Chart Industries Divests BioMedical Oxygen Products

ATLANTA (October 19, 2018)—Chart Industries, Inc., has signed a definitive agreement to divest its oxygen-related products business within its BioMedical segment to NGK Spark Plug Co., Ltd. (NGK Spark Plug) for $133.5 million. The sale is expected to close within the fourth quarter of 2018, following the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, including regulatory requirements.

CAIRE Names New Service Center for the Northeast Region

BALL GROUND, Ga. (September 26, 2017)—CAIRE Inc. (CAIRE), the manufacturer of the AirSep, CAIRE and SeQual brands of wearable, portable and stationary oxygen concentrators, has appointed Altra Service Professionals as the authorized service center serving customers in New Jersey and the New England states.

Altra Service Professionals will perform both warranty and non-warranty service for CAIRE products from their facility in Berlin, Connecticut.
