(April 27, 2018)—CMS issued guidance titled "Billing Instruction—Oxygen CMN Question 5" on February 15, 2018, requiring suppliers to obtain revised oxygen CMNs for all patients that had different liter flows of oxygen in a 24-hour period effective April 1, 2018. The guidance required the industry to tell prescribers to not answer Question 5 of the CMN as stated on the form.

Grant to study sleep-disordered breathing for two years; improving patient outcomes.

NEW YORK (April 24, 2018)—The ATS Foundation announced its new ATS Foundation/ResMed Research Fellowship in Sleep-disordered Breathing and PAP Therapy.

The award will provide funding for two years in the amount of $100,000, provided by ResMed, a global provider of connected health with more than 4 million cloud-connected PAP devices monitoring patients every night.
