Webinar: working with hospitals and physician groups

The webinar “Loan Closets, Employee Liaisons, Preferred Provider Agreements & Other Arrangements with Hospitals and Physician Groups” will be offered on July 16 from 2:30-4:00 p.m. ET. It is acceptable for DME providers to enter into arrangements with hospitals, physicians and other referral sources. As is often the case, however “the devil is in the details.” In entering into arrangements it is critical that providers avoid violating federal and/or state anti-fraud laws. This program will lay out the parameters that providers and referral sources must adhere to as they work together. Learning objectives include: the ways that providers can legally enter into arrangements with referral sources; pitfalls to be avoided when a provider places an employee liaison on the premises of the hospital or other referral source, and; what a properly-structured preferred provider arrangement looks like.
