Mark Higley, vice president-development for VGM Group, Inc., received the Christopher J. Denmark Commitment to Excellence award at the New England Medical Equipment Dealers Association’s (NEMED) 24th annual meeting May 17. He was honored for his “commitment to helping providers understand the competitive bidding process for Round 2.” Higley has spoken at numerous seminars nationwide and has traveled more than 100,000 miles over the past year educating providers about the bidding process. He spoke at NEMED’s winter membership meeting, and held weekly conference calls with NEMED members during the bidding process. He is presenting a special session, “Round 1 Recompete,” June 5 at VGM’s Heartland Conference, which runs June 4-7 in Waterloo, Iowa.
