She is a registered nurse with 30 years of health care industry experience in clinical settings and program integrity. “The current regulatory environment and strict oversight of the industry make the insight of both nurses and auditors critical to our clients,” said Wayne van Halem, founder and president of the group. “Jane will bring both of these insights to help our clients navigate the often complicated regulatory path.”
Naig has professional nursing experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings and served in leadership roles including with the Department of Defense Dependents Overseas Schools (DODDS) in Frankfurt, Germany. Her expertise is in medical investigations, quality assurance, and clinical data analysis, and during her time at Medicare she has overseen audits of all types of healthcare providers including durable medical equipment suppliers, home health and hospice agencies and physician practices. She is a certified fraud examiner and an accredited health care fraud investigator.
