INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., April 5, 2013—National Government Services, the Jurisdiction B Durable Medical Equipment Medicare Administrative Contractor (DME MAC), strives to deliver detailed information to assist suppliers with understanding the Medicare program guidelines and procedures through several resources including Medicare University. Computer-based training (CBT) courses are interactive online tutorials, which are developed to help assist in the dissemination of supplier information.
All DME CBTs within Medicare University have been reviewed and updated to include the standard documentation language consistent with the Local Coverage Determinations (LCDs) and to provide guidance on the required technical components of documentation. To access Medicare University go to http://www.MedicareUniversity.com and log in with your user name and password. If you don't have a user name and password, click the “Create New User” button.
