ATLANTA, Georgia—Trella Health, a provider of market intelligence and customer relationship management (CRM) solutions for post-acute care, HME and Infusion organizations, announced the addition of David Kerr to Trella Health's leadership team as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Reporting directly to Scott Tapp, CEO of Trella Health, Kerr will lead Trella's technology vision and innovation strategy.
"David's deep expertise in health care technology and his passion for building agile, high-performing teams will play a critical role as we continue to invest in advancements in AI (artificial intelligence), data integrations and datasets—including Medicare Advantage," said Scott Tapp, CEO of Trella Health. "With his leadership, we'll advance our platform's capabilities and better support health care organizations with greater visibility into care quality, growth and performance."
Kerr brings more than 25 years of technology leadership experience spanning enterprise software, data platforms and digital transformation. Most recently, he served as CTO at Forcura, a health care IT company focused on post-acute workflow and communication solutions. There, he led strategic development across EHR integrations, business intelligence and AI, driving innovation and product scalability.
At Trella Health, Kerr will oversee all aspects of the company's technology strategy, including engineering, infrastructure and the expansion of data and AI capabilities. Trella Health said Kerr will play a key role in evolving Trella's platform to support smarter decision-making and operational efficiency across the care continuum.
"I'm thrilled to join Trella Health during such a transformative phase," said Kerr. "The team has already built a powerful foundation, and I look forward to building on that momentum by leveraging new and emerging technologies to fuel future growth."
Prior to his role at Forcura, Kerr held senior leadership positions at Infinicept, Fortress Consulting and S&P Global. He earned both his Bachelor of Science and MBA in statistics from Colorado State University, holds a data science certificate from Harvard, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from CSU Global. He is also a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in the nuclear program.
Tella Health said Kerr's appointment underscores the company's ongoing commitment to delivering forward-thinking solutions that meet the complex needs of an ever-evolving health care system.
