The playbook will cover how to guide online presence for hospice & homecare providers

TOLEDO, Ohio—Transcend Strategy Group released its new Insights Playbook, "Online Reputation Management for Hospice and Home Care."

“Our research shows that 65% of online adults aged 18+ leverage internet research when getting information for medical conditions,” said Jordan Dockery, manager of digital strategy and media for Transcend. “We expect that percentage to increase as newer generations step into caregiver roles.”

More families and caregivers are turning to online reviews, referral sites and social media to inform their purchasing decisions. Even providers who have top quality scores can be at a disadvantage if their online reputation is questionable. Transcend said taking control of an online narrative can be beneficial in today's virtual landscape.

“We work with our clients to approach their online reputation management in a very holistic way focusing on the R.E.D. method: responsiveness, empathy and de-escalation,” said Tony Kudner, Transcend’s chief strategy officer. “The Insights
Playbook explains the philosophy behind the R.E.D. method and includes a framework and tip sheet to help home-based care providers get started.”
