The new August, Georgia location of Seniors Helping Seniors will serve 33 counties throughout the state

AUGUSTA, Georgia—Seniors Helping Seniors in-home care services, a franchisor with more than 200 franchise partners and 400 territories nationwide, announced it is expanding with a new location in Augusta, Georgia. The new location, opened by Evans, Georgia residents Jeanine Canales and Juan Canales, will span across 33 counties in the state. Opening this summer, the new location will serve cover Richmond, Columbia, McDuffie, Burke, Baldwin and Putnam counties with additional territories to follow.

"The U.S. Census Bureau estimates that more than 20% of Georgia's population will be 60 or older by the year 2030, an increase of almost 34% from 2012," said Jeanine. "In fact, In Georgia, the senior population grew by 15.7% between 2020 and 2024—the 10th highest in the country. This significant change in demographics is a clarion call to serve the senior community differently and better than ever before. Seniors Helping Seniors's business model presents the opportunity to create real impact by keeping active and less active seniors connected. This connection thereby supports less active seniors by allowing them to age in place: in their own homes and on their terms. For me, it's not just a business; it's a values-based movement to catalyze kindness."

The demand for in-home care for mature populations continues to grow, with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services reporting that nearly 70% of retirees will require some form of long-term care.

"We've become a leader in this industry by prioritizing the best possible care for our seniors, and that means partnering with only the most passionate and hard-working franchisees," said Seniors Helping Seniors President Namrata Yocom-Jan. "That's exactly what we've found with Jeanine Lewis Canales as a new franchisee Partner, who are well-equipped to provide unparalleled in-home services to those in need throughout Georgia's Mid-South region."
