Rotech's acquisition of Baptist Home Medical Equipment expands its services to Tennessee, Mississippi & Arkansas

ORLANDO, Florida—Rotech Healthcare Inc., a national provider of home respiratory and medical equipment, has announced the acquisition of Baptist Home Medical Equipment’s business, based in Memphis, Tennessee, with services extending to neighboring communities. Baptist Home Medical Equipment was owned by Baptist Memorial Health which is comprised of 23 hospitals.

This move expands Rotech’s footprint in Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas, and Rotech said the move will allow it to provide uninterrupted service to patients while maintaining referral relationships with medical providers throughout the region.

“We are thrilled to work with the Baptist Memorial Health Care team and expand our presence in these states,” said Robin Menchen, president and chief executive officer of Rotech. “This acquisition is not only about growth—it’s about ensuring patients experience a seamless transition in care, and that referring providers can continue trusting in consistent, high-quality service for their patients’ needs.”

“We look forward to working with Rotech Healthcare in this new capacity,” said Brad Parsons, vice president of market operations for Baptist. “Baptist has compassionately served home medical equipment patients in the Mid-South for decades, and this partnership will allow us to shift our focus to our core business areas while continuing to support patients’ needs and providing high-quality and sustainable health care for the region.”
