NEW YORK—Rhythm Healthcare, a provider of respiratory and durable medical equipment (DME), announced a warranty extension for select oxygen concentrator models, moving coverage from three years to five years.
This five-year warranty now applies to the following models:
- Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POCs): P2, P2-E6, P2-E7
- Stationary Oxygen Concentrators (SOCs): LM5BA
This enhanced warranty is delivered through the Rhythm Resolve program, which provides support by replacing malfunctioning units with brand new equipment.
“Offering a five-year warranty is a powerful statement of quality and trust,” said Mitch Yoel, chief operating officer of Rhythm Healthcare. “Our defect rate is exceptionally low because every single returned unit under Rhythm Resolve is delivered directly to us for root cause analysis. We do not simply recirculate repaired units to customers and patients through service centers. This process allows us to pinpoint failure modes, iterate, implement engineering improvements and sustain the highest possible product quality. We are proud to now offer the industry’s best warranty, providing our customers with two extra years of premium asset protection, at no additional charge.”
For DME provider partners, this five-year coverage aims to reduce the total cost of ownership and stabilizes margins. The extension to five years offers:
- Financial Advantage & Risk Mitigation: Guaranteed coverage eliminates the financial burden of replacements or repairs for two additional years, protecting profitability and extending the useful life of the equipment.
- Uninterrupted Service & Fleet Performance: Confidence in equipment reliability and the provision of brand-new replacement units minimizes operational downtime for the DME provider and ensures superior patient care continuity.
- Simplified Fleet Management: The extended warranty period aligns capital planning, simplifies inventory management and provides greater certainty in equipment lifecycle costs.
The five-year warranty is effective immediately for all new purchases of the specified models.
Rhythm Healthcare also unveiled changes to Rhythm Resolve. Designed directly around feedback from its DME partners, the company said the upgraded program, titled Rhythm Resolve 2.0, is engineered to provide maximized operational speed and simplified financial management.
“We heard our customers clearly: Complexity creates unnecessary administrative cost and cashflow drag,” said Yoel. “Rhythm Resolve 2.0 solves this by ensuring that the financial transaction is straightforward and immediate. For qualifying partners, there is now no invoice or credit memo issued for the replacement unit, completely removing the administrative financial steps that caused delays and reconciliation issues.”
