A Kaiser Family Foundation tracking poll found that six in 10 Americans say they or a member of their household have delayed or skipped health care in the past year. The monthly poll found 42 percent of participants used home remedies and over-the-counter drugs instead of visiting the doctor, and 36 percent skipped dental care or checkups. Three in 10 didn't fill a prescription while two in 10 said they either cut their pills in half or skipped doses. The poll shows 59 percent believe health care reform is more important than ever while 37 percent say the country can't afford health reform because of economic problems.
