DURYEA, Pennsylvania—Pride Mobility has announced the launch of three new travel power wheelchairs: the Jazzy Carbon 27, the Jazzy Carbon 27x and the Jazzy Carbon HD. The three wheelchairs launched on Monday, Dec. 15 and are available to the public.
"Each [wheelchair] features a highly durable carbon fiber frame and offers something unique for those seeking that next travel mobility solution," said Pride Mobility. "The Jazzy Carbon 27X folds vertically like a manual wheelchair and is ideal for smaller riders of 275 pounds or less. The Jazzy Carbon 27 is a more traditional folding unit with a 300 pound weight capacity. And the Jazzy Carbon HD breaks the mold as a lightweight, folding unit in the heavy-duty class, boasting a 400 pound weight capacity."
Pride said all three wheelchairs were designed to make traveling easier for people of all mobility needs. The new designs are easier to fold, transport and store away, and they're all made of a durable carbon fiber to ensure longevity.
Specifics of the wheelchairs include:

- Top speed of up to 3.7 miles per hour (mph)
- High ranges of up to 8 mph (Carbon 27), 9 mph (Carbon 27x) and 12.4 mph (Carbon HD)
