SARASOTA, Fla, July 1,2013—Accessibility and Mobility manufacturer, Harmar, has announced the hiring of additional personnel centered on further improving operations, engineering, and quality systems.
Mark Welcer has joined the leadership team as COO in charge of all internal operations covering production, quality, and engineering systems. He also serves as Chief Compliance Officer. Reporting to Welcer are two additional hires: Les Smith joins Harmar as engineering director. With over 30 years experience in engineering and operations, he is responsible for all facets of product engineering from development through manufacturing and facilities management. David Sapuppo has joined Harmar as quality assurance director, bringing over 20 years experience in managing manufacturing operations to incorporate leading-edge technology systems.
