HME providers arriving in Las Vegas prior to the official start of Medtrade Spring can access education seminars for a nominal charge by calling participating companies for discount codes.

There are seven separate pre-show seminars set for Tuesday, April 10, from 8 a.m.-noon. Participating companies are: Capital Healthcare Group; Invacare; Team@Work; Jane’s Healthcare Consulting & University; Philips Respironics; Pride Mobility Products Corp; MED Group; and VGM Group.

Call any of these companies and receive a code to use for Medtrade registration. Registration with the code admits an attendee into the chosen company’s pre-show seminar, plus all educational sessions during the main conference, for a total of $205.

Those who do not want to attend a pre-show seminar can still request a code from the participating companies, and that will provide a $20 discount for the main conference registration, for a total of $179.

In addition, attendees may call any Medtrade Spring exhibitor for a discount code for a free expo pass, normally costing $50.

“Once you have a pass, you have unfettered access to the show floor, and can visit all the exhibitors you want,’’ said Kevin Gaffney, Medtrade show director. “However, you must register using your discount code from the exhibitor prior to arriving onsite. Codes are not valid onsite.”

Also, there is one pre-show event on Monday, April 9, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.—an intensive training course offered by Brightree. It focuses on best practices and incorporates the latest Brightree release functions, including 5010 eclaims workflow. There is no code associated with this event. But price of the workshop is $450, which includes the conference and expo.

All events take place at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas. To learn more, visit the Medtrade Spring website.
