The recent report released by the Office of Inspector General (OIG) suggesting improvements to the Administrative Law Judges' (ALJ) level of Medicare appeals will likely impact your appeals. During this important webcast, you’ll learn why it’s critical to re-examine your appeal strategies in light of the OIG recommendations. Learning objectives will include:

• Learn effective appeal strategies for Medicare providers;
• Understand the OIG report’s impact on hospital providers’ ability to obtain full Part B reimbursement, including coordination with lower level contractors in obtaining full Part B reimbursement;
• Learn about the changes to appeals strategies if ALJs specialize in specific provider classes;
• Find out which Medicare policies CMS and the Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals may identify and clarify, as suggested by the OIG, such as providing additional guidance to ALJs regarding the acceptance of new or additional evidence;
