WASHINGTON, D.C., May 3, 2013—AAHomecare is pleased to announce that the association has hired Heather Boyd as its new manager of regulatory affairs. She has over six years of experience with health care policy, focusing on Medicare regulations. She has researched, analyzed and advocated for numerous health care issues, including accountable care organizations, for the American Medical Directors Association, Women in Government and the National Chain Drugstore Association. Boyd will join AAHomecare on May 20 and will work closely with Kim Brummett, senior director of regulatory affairs, on the association’s regulatory initiatives.

Boyd has a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Christopher Newport University and is pursuing a master’s degree in public policy at George Mason University. Go online to www.aahomecare.org.
