Oct. 19, 2012, Atlanta—Members of Cahaba Media Group (CMG) representing HomeCare magazine and Senior Care Products attended Medtrade 2012 Oct. 15-16 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
“We experienced an outpouring of support unlike anything I’ve ever seen,” according to Russ Willcutt, senior editor of CMG’s Health Care Division. “We nearly ran out of magazines the first day and had to schedule an emergency shipment. People are particularly delighted that we purchased HomeCare magazine and brought it back to life last January, and they’re energized by our new design and editorial direction emphasizing retail sales. As the only true magazine serving the HME/DME industry, we’re delighted to have the opportunity to tell the stories of providers who are successfully navigating the challenges this industry currently faces. Our content will help them chart their course.”
The company’s booth received heavy traffic during expo hours, and the CMG team—Wally Evans, president; George Lake, vice president of sales; Jim Harmon, associate publisher/Health Care Division; and Jane Longshore, managing editor of HomeCare magazine and editor of Senior Care Products—attended numerous private meetings with industry leaders making plans for upcoming collaborations. HomeCare magazine and Senior Care Products also sponsored the American Association for Homecare’s “Stand Up for Homecare” event and visited social gatherings held by companies such as Pride Mobility and The VGM Group.
