HMS awarded contract for Medicaid payment oversight in Texas

HMS, a wholly owned subsidiary of HMS Holdings Corp., announced last week that it has been awarded a 36-month contract by Scott & White Health Plan to provide a variety of payment integrity services on behalf of the plan's Medicaid members, including coordination of benefits; overpayment recovery; subrogation; and fraud, waste and abuse. Scott & White Health Plan serves more 200,000 members in 50 Central Texas counties through its commercial plan, SeniorCare, and managed Medicaid plan.
