PLAINVIEW, N.Y., Feb. 12, 2013—Fastrack Healthcare Systems announces a series of new features designed to help providers respond to competitive bidding reimbursement pressures by reducing operating cost through automation. Fastrack’s newest software release features a considerable list of new workflow automation functions to improve productivity. Fastrack clients have the capability to schedule in advance when the system will run key financial reports. The reports are automatically sent by email to all appropriate staff at the time designated. The reports can be scheduled to run daily, weekly or monthly with different data elements depending on the specific report chosen. The sales journal, accounts receivable aging, billing and orders on hold would be among the typical reports that a provider might want to have on a regular schedule to be automatically sent to key personnel.
A major enhancement was made to the billing process which can now be segmented to match the existing processes of the provider offering greater flexibility and control as it can be run by specific users, bill type including Medicare, Medicaid, one or more insurance carriers, wholesale/facility, private pay and/or workers compensation claims as well as type of order such as delivery, exchange, maintenance, etc.
