DALLAS—Elara Caring, a full-scale, multi-state home health provider of clinical and personalized services, has acquired American Family Home Health, a 35-person, privately owned skilled home health care provider in Huntley, Illinois, within Winnebago County. The addition of American Family Home Health will further increase Elara’s geographic footprint in Illinois, expand its presence in the Midwest and advance its mission of "expanding access to high-quality, home health care" the company said. It comes on the heels of Elara’s addition of hospice services to its home health offerings in Tinley Park, Illinois, and its recent acquisition of Assisted Daily Living in Rhode Island.
