Learning objectives include obtaining an understanding of the entire revenue cycle (albeit at a high level) and how documentation, coding, and reimbursement are impacted through each step; finding out how different provider types (physician professional services, hospitals, and other entities like ASCs) must bill and are reimbursed differently; and learning and appreciating how different entities must work together on documentation in order to drive the appropriate reimbursement for one another.
