More than 700 members of a broad coalition of medical technology companies and leading associations have signed a letter to congressional leaders urging repeal of the 2.3 percent medical device tax scheduled to take effect next year. The signatories included the Medical Device Manufacturers Association, the Advanced Medical Technology Association, the Medical Imaging & Technology Alliance, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Manufacturers, the National Federation of Independent Business and the National Venture Capital Association.
