HINGHAM, Mass., Sept. 11, 2012—NHIC, Corp. DME MAC A will be hosting an “Ask-the-Contractor” Teleconference (ACT) and webinar Wednesday Sept. 19. During this call representatives from the DME MAC Provider Outreach & Education Team and Performant Financial Corporation (formerly Diversified Collection Services) will give a presentation regarding recent updates and address issues that are currently under review by the Recovery Auditor followed by an operator assisted question and answer period. The call will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. EST and last for one and a half hours.
The teleconference forum promotes an opportunity to share information, answer questions and identify problems in a timely way. Participants learn from each other’s questions and receive useful clarifications regarding the different rules and instructions associated with fee-for-service Medicare coverage, coding and payment. All DMEPOS supplier types are encouraged to participate.
