SEWELL, N.J., April 26, 2013—Active Controls LLC announced that it has become an official supplier for the newly merged ATG Rehab/United Seating and Mobility company Numotion. Active Controls' revolutionary ReJoy midline mounting system for powerchair drive controls is now available through Numotion. The ReJoy midline joystick platform allows you to easily re-position any armrest-mounted hand control on the robust, stable and modular center drive system. The ReJoy platform and adjustable gel pads can also be used for midline positioning of alternate drive controls such as those from Switch-It!, Stealth, ASL and HMC. With a center drive system many power chair clients can perform bilateral ADL tasks, such as opening doors while driving through them. The ReJoy platform and center drive system components are coded for billing purposes as K0108.
The system’s modularity provides up to three drive locations on any power chair with or without expandable electronics. The need for a second joystick control for an attendant is eliminated with the plug-and-play center drive system. Numotion clinicians can now offer superior function, comfort and positioning to their clients while retaining good margins. Just about any seating and positioning system is enhanced by the dynamic symmetry provided by this robust midline mounting platform. The system has features no other midline mounting system can provide. Seating specialists no longer need to have their efforts compromised by their client’s method of accessing/operating armrest-mounted drive controls. Learn more at www.activecontrols.com.
