WATERLOO, Iowa (June 5, 2020)—VGM & Associates have released three new resources to help members navigate the new business climate post-PHE. These resources include the latest edition of the VGM playbook, a remote guide to help members transition into a virtual working environment, and a re-opening checklist to help businesses prepare for the new environment.

The latest installment of the VGM playbook, “VGM Playbook: Technology and the Patient Care Continuum,” contains articles from VGM’s experts and industry partners that focus on the importance of virtual services while remaining compliant and keeping business safe with proper cybersecurity measures. The goal of this playbook is to provide members with insight on how to maintain business operations while integrating new technology and communication channels to positively impact the patient experience now and in the future.

The remote guide, “Technology and the Patient Care Continuum Guide to Remote Work,” contains insight from VGM’s experts and industry partners about adapting to a virtual working environment. A remote environment can give businesses the power to connect with customers quicker than ever before. Because of this, it is necessary to understand how businesses can maximize customer service during these ever-changing times.

Experts from the VGM Government team have created “VGM’s Next Steps Guide: A blueprint guide preparing your business for the new environment,” a tool to assist businesses in making re-opening decisions during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is important to check with state and local health officials and other partners to determine the most appropriate actions while adjusting to meet the unique needs and circumstances of the local community.

“We are so excited to share these latest educational resources with our members,” said Clint Geffert, president of VGM & Associates. “Our experts have worked diligently to provide members with the best information possible in order to help their business adjust to this new environment. We believe that these new resources do just that for our members.”

Members can download their copy at vgm.com/playbook or by logging into the VGM members-only portal and downloading them from the Playbook tab.
