WATERLOO, IOWA (March 28, 2016)—Heartland Conference is less than 12 weeks away, and today VGM Group, Inc. released the official schedule for its annual education conference.

The education lineup includes 16 categories with presentations from more than 50 industry experts speaking on topics ranging from billing and reimbursement, respiratory, retail, accessibility, compliance and mobility, to name a few.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Heartland Conference, and organizers are once again planning to roll out the red carpet as they welcome more than 1,000 visitors to VGM’s hometown, Waterloo, Iowa.

“We are very satisfied with the schedule of presenters and other events that have been coordinated for the industry’s premier education event,” said Sara Laures, VGM’s vice president of Special Projects, and one of the long-time conference organizers. “Our education sub-committees worked diligently to create another great lineup of industry experts, and we’re looking forward to showcasing our famous hometown hospitality.”

Themed “Ignite Ideas and Cultivate Connections,” VGM’s Heartland Conference will include a new track to help generate and foster “Big Ideas.” Still in the planning stages, the track will include a creative boot camp that presents simple life changes that will have the greatest effect on developing long-term creative problem solving, a “speed networking” event that will play off the idea of speed dating and a special event to honor the women of the HME industry.

“This track will focus on building relationships and forming new connections and ideas,” said Laures. “We’ll be sure our traditional education and CEU opportunities will continue to knock it out of the ballpark, but we also want Heartland attendees to experience the fun of an outside of the box approach to HME education, too.”
