VGM audit specialists Mark Higley and Peggy Walker, in conjunction with audit experts James Herren, who was provider relations senior analyst at Cigna Government Services; Wayne H. van Halem, a former Medicare fraud investigator; and attorney Edward Vishnevetsky of Munsch Hardt Health Care group, will provide support to help providers keep their businesses up and running, the company said.
"While it's most obvious HMEs would prefer to avoid audits, it remains quite likely that many companies will be audited," said VGM's Walker.
