WATERLOO, Iowa—VGM & Associates announced that Matt Filippis has been named director of business development for clinical mobility and accessibility. In this role, Filippis will focus on executing the business development strategy to drive growth and profitability for the clinical mobility and accessibility membership channels, including U.S. Rehab, VGM Live at Home and OPGA.

Filippis brings 25 years of experience in the durable medical equipment, prosthetics and orthotics supplies (DMEPOS) industry, with a focus on complex rehab, mobility, orthotics, prosthetics and home accessibility. His background includes leadership roles with Wright & Filippis, National Seating & Mobility, and most recently, he served as director, rehab operations at AdaptHealth. In his new position, Filippis will collaborate closely with members and vendor partners to identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage and grow existing key accounts and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of the respective membership specialties in complex rehab, home accessibility and orthotics and prosthetics.
