PHILADELPHIA—UnderX, a direct-to-consumer incontinence care brand, announced that William Morrissey has joined the company to support commercial growth, provider partnerships and market expansion.
Morrissey brings a long resume of experience in health care distribution, medical sales and customer engagement, having worked with some of the industry's leading organizations. At UnderX, he said he will work toward strengthening relationships with long-term care providers, senior living communities, veteran affairs systems and other institutional buyers seeking discreet, high-absorbency solutions for residents and patients.
Morrissey will serve as a key point of contact for new accounts and business-to-business development as UnderX scales its United States-based manufacturing, expands stock keeping unit availability and launches tailored programs for professional care partners.
“I’m excited to be part of something that’s more than a product,” said Morrissey. “UnderX represents comfort, dignity and peace of mind for people who truly need it. Whether it’s a caregiver trying to help someone they love or a facility director making purchasing decisions for hundreds of residents, our goal is to offer protection they can rely on.”
As part of his new role, Morrissey will represent UnderX in outreach to hospitals and purchasing decision-makers, sharing product benefits through targeted education and relationship-building efforts.
“William brings a rare combination of heart and hustle,” said Wayne Springate, co-founder of UnderX. “He understands the business side of this industry, but more importantly, he understands the people we’re trying to serve.”
