The homecare franchise has now opened locations in Tinley Park, Illinois & South Frederick, Maryland

TEMPE, Arizona—SYNERGY HomeCare has announced its two newest locations, SYNERGY HomeCare in Tinley Park, Illinois, and SYNERGY HomeCare in South Frederick, Maryland. The companies will assist nearby residents with nonmedical homecare services, including companion, personal and respite care.

SYNERGY HomeCare in Tinley Park is owned and operated by Landell “Dell” Smith, a South Chicago native, volunteer preacher and experienced healthcare entrepreneur. After spending three decades preaching across Chicagoland and roughly 15 years working with seniors as a hearing instrument specialist, Smith turned to homecare.

“Seeing the joy on a person’s face when we’ve helped them hear again is priceless,” said Smith. “When they begin to understand conversations with friends and family, they regain so much dignity and make me feel like I’ve truly accomplished something to be proud of. Through my talks with clients who have told me about their homecare experiences, I realized that caregivers have a similar impact. They help our loved ones regain their dignity, independence and quality of life. That’s a mission I’m excited to embrace even further by joining the homecare industry.”

The new Maryland agency is led by Mehmet Faruk Kayan, who decided to transition into homecare after spending years working as an estimator for a home remodeling company, where he was able to witness firsthand the most common household needs of older residents, veterans and individuals with disabilities.

“I’ve had the opportunity to visit many Maryland homes and interact with many different groups of people,” said Kayan. “These encounters opened my eyes to the challenges that so many people face behind closed doors when it comes to maintaining independence and quality of life. For these individuals, a successful remodel wasn’t just about checking boxes. It was about genuinely listening and understanding their unique needs, then providing them with the tailored solutions that fit their preferences and personality. Designing a care plan follows those same principles.”
