Sunset Healthcare announced it is expanding its in-house repair parts for oxygen concentrators

CHICAGO—Sunset Healthcare Solutions announced it is expanding its line of in-house repair parts for oxygen concentrators, allowing durable medical equipment providers to service and extend the life of their own concentrators at a lower cost. Sunset said it introduced the line in late 2024 after noticing a clear void in needed parts.

“I saw that original equipment manufacturers were discontinuing certain items and neglecting to focus on supporting customers,” said Sunset’s Vice President of Business Development Delwin Lovell. “I started reaching out to customers to determine the need and to vendors to determine the accessibility of certain parts, with the goal of providing both dependable and inexpensive replacement parts.”

The line launched with parts for Invacare, DeVilbiss, Respironics, Rhythm/Lifestyle and Direct Supply. Sunset said it is now adding components for the Rhythm LM5BA and the React Stratus, as well as expanded portable oxygen concentrators and liquid oxygen systems component categories for various machines. Current offerings include flow meters, valves, capacitors, compressors and rebuild kits, gaskets and seals, pressure regulators, outer cabinet body parts, cooling fans, power cords, mufflers and circuit breakers.

“Customers really appreciate that we’ve added this line because it allows them to use us as a one-stop shop for both filters and parts,” said Lovell. “This year, our first full year, the demand has been huge. We now have over 90 parts on the list.”

Sunset will feature the full line of repair parts and a compatibility guide in its 2026 catalog, and the company said it’s working to expand the line even further.

“There are still gaps, and customers frequently ask us to bring in additional parts,” said Lovell. “I’ve also added components for newer machines, knowing there will be a growing need for them. We will continue to add parts moving forward to support customers."
