ALEXANDRIA, Va. (October 25, 2022)—Registration is now open for the National Home Infusion Association’s 2023 Annual Conference (NHIA 2023), to be held March 25-29, 2023, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
The NHIA Annual Conference is the premier education and networking event for the home and alternate site infusion industry. NHIA 2023 will feature four days of educational content on topics selected for their relevance by industry-leading experts. The unparalleled NHIA Expo offers eight dedicated hours to explore the latest products and services that will improve business operations and take quality patient care to the next level.
Home and alternate site infusion clinicians including physicians, pharmacists, nurses and dieticians work together to manage care—driving clinical outcomes in the home infusion model to be as good or better than those achieved in institutional settings, making the home infusion industry perfectly poised to meet the health care needs of the future. NHIA will continue to offer over to 40 CE for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, nurses and dietitians as well as add a new offering of over 20 CME for physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners across clinical, nursing and leadership tracks as well as clinical-focused symposia.
The popular NHIA Sterile Compounding Clinic will incorporate changes from the new USP Chapters into the curriculum and provides a rare opportunity for optional hands-on training in a simulated clean room environment. The program offers an additional 15 hours of continuing education credit and is a PTCB-recognized education/training program for the Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT) Certification.
