WATERLOO, Iowa (October 8, 2019)—Essentially Women (EW) has released the schedule for its annual education conference for women’s health and mastectomy service providers.

FOCUS: The EW Conference offers several educational sessions that provide attendees the opportunity to earn scientific and business continuing education credits (CEUs) through the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC) and the Board for Orthotist/Prosthetist Certification (BOC). Topics covered include custom breast prosthesis selection, billing and reimbursement, marketing best practices and misconceptions, and opportunities in the cannabidiol (CBD) market.

“Focus is all about providing our members with education tailored to help them improve their business,” stated Nikki Jensen, vice president of EW. “Our sessions will help attendees gain valuable insight to help them grow professionally and to adjust to the ever-evolving health care industry.”

EW’s conference will take place Feb. 8-10, 2020, in Tampa, Florida, at the Hilton Tampa Downtown. The conference is hosted exclusively for members of EW, a division of VGM Group, and features two days of business development, continuing education and interaction with industry consultants, manufacturers and peers.

“Along with earning CEUs, attendees have the opportunity to network with first-class presenters, hear legislative updates that impact our industry and see the latest women’s health care products offered by our vendor partners,” said Jensen. “We also always have a lot of fun at this event each year.”

Registration for FOCUS: The EW Conference is now open and EW members interested in attending can receive an early bird discount through Oct. 31. For more information on the event or to register, visit focus.essentiallywomen.com.
