EXETER, Penn. (September 6, 2016)—Quantum Rehab and Allied Services will host “Living with SCI,” an informative webinar for individuals with spinal cord injuries, their families and professionals on September 20 at 7 p.m. EST.

“It’s a candid conversation among those of us living with SCI that we know will help others,” says host Kiel Eigen, who was injured at age 14. “We want all to know that you can come out on the other side, not just surviving, but thriving.”

The webinar will feature discussions around technology, therapy and trends within the SCI community. The keynote presenter is TV personality and advocate Mia Schaikewitz, and panelists include artist and SCI survivor Jesse Cuellar and Gina Tomassoni, DPT, of Allied Services. The webinar coincides with Spinal Cord Injury Awareness month, as well as National Rehabilitation Week.

“For those living with spinal cord injuries, their families and even professionals, there can be a lot that goes unspoken and unknown,” says Jim Brogna, vice president, corporate advancement and communications at Allied Services. “This webinar is a unique opportunity to learn about some of those factors in living with SCI, from individuals who have experienced them first-hand.”
