NASHVILLE (March 5, 2018)—PlayMaker Health, a post-acute growth platform serving hundreds of organizations nationwide, announced the addition of Gregg Boyle as vice president of engineering.

Boyle joins the PlayMaker team from Qualifacts, where he co-led the development of the leading enterprise Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider for the behavioral health and human services market. Prior to Qualifacts, he served as director of enterprise technology for WebMD/Emdeon’s Business Services division, where he was responsible for the creation of Emdeon’s next-generation technology platform.

“We are thrilled to welcome Gregg to the team,” said John Griscavage, PlayMaker’s chief executive officer. “PlayMaker is going through a phenomenal growth phase right now, driven by the expansion in the post-acute market and greater need for data driven insights. Gregg is the perfect technology leader to take us to the next level.”

In his role as vice president of engineering, Boyle will manage a team of forward-thinking software engineers and mobile developers responsible for creating the next wave of post-acute health care growth solutions.

“I believe that one of the most effective ways an organization can affect its bottom line is to harness data and empower its staff to make better decisions,” said Boyle. “PlayMaker is uniquely positioned to help post-acute care sales teams do just that.”

Boyle is an active member of Health Level 7 (HL7) and the federal Standards and Interoperability (S&I) framework group, and he has held a number of board-level and advisory roles related to healthcare technology, including being a mentor for the Healthbox startup accelerator program.
