Promotions in Paradigm's leadership roles include Kathy Gail as president of workers' compensation solutions

WALNUT CREEK, California—Paradigm, a specialty care management organization focused on delivering solutions for individuals with complex injuries and diagnoses, announced several leadership updates the company said are designed to strengthen organizational alignment and support the company’s continued growth..

Kathy Galia, previously chief clinical solutions officer, has been promoted to president of workers’ compensation solutions. In this role, Galia will lead the company’s workers’ compensation business, with responsibility for all workers’ compensation products excluding payment integrity.

Her promotion underscores her accomplishments and our confidence in her ability to guide the business forward. Aligning all of Paradigm’s patient-facing products and operations under one leader positions us to better support our customers and partners as we continue to grow.”

Tom Mastri will become executive vice president (EVP), finance & chief operating officer, with expanded responsibility for Paradigm’s payment integrity solutions, network development and provider operations. Mastri has served as Paradigm’s EVP of finance and business development & CFO since 2012 and brings extensive experience across provider networks and payments, informed by both his time at Coventry and his long tenure at Paradigm.

“Tom brings deep expertise in networks, payments and financial operations, along with a long track record of execution at Paradigm,” said Watts. “His experience and judgment make him exceptionally well suited to lead these capabilities as they continue to evolve in support of our clients.”


Paradigm also announced that Chris Pricco will be departing the company to pursue a CEO opportunity in the group health sector. The company said Pricco has been a valued member of Paradigm’s leadership team and has made significant contributions to the company’s specialty networks, home health and payment integrity capabilities during his tenure.
