MINNEAPOLIS—Darrell Burnette, mobility solutions sales representative for Ottobock, has recently been certified as an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP). According to RESNA, the certifying body, this achievement recognizes that he demonstrates competence in analyzing the needs of individuals with disabilities, assisting in the selection of the appropriate assistive technology for their needs and providing training in the use of the selected devices.

“This recent achievement especially positions Darrell to assist customers in finding the best clinical solution for a patient and is indicative of his consistent dedication to being a knowledgeable and relevant resource to them through training, experience and continuing education,” says Frank Oschell, Eastern regional sales manager for Ottobock’s Mobility Solutions Business Unit. “He is a valued leader and mentor in our company and his recent certification is just one example of how he continues to align with, support and strengthen the mission of Ottobock.”

Burnette joined Ottobock in 2011with several years of experience in the healthcare industry and is responsible for the sales territory that includes Washington, D.C., Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland. He has a Bachelor of Science in Recreational Therapy from East Carolina University and a Master of Science in Health Services Administration from Central Michigan University.
