Osmundo Saguil, medical director of Desert Oasis Medical, was honored by the California Association of Health Services at Home

PALM SPRINGS, California—Desert Oasis Healthcare (DOHC) announced that Osmundo Saguil has been awarded the Physician of the Year Award by the California Association of Health Services at Home (CAHSAH). This award honors physicians who demonstrate exceptional dedication to homecare, ensuring its vital role in the health care system.

Saguil, the medical director of Desert Oasis Home Health and Family Hospice Care, is an advocate for home-based health care, integrating home health, hospice and private duty services into patient care for 40 years. The company said his leadership and collaborative approach within interdisciplinary teams have enhanced the delivery of compassionate, high-quality care for patients in their homes.

DOHC congratulated Saguil on this recognition and celebrated his commitment to patient-centered, innovative homecare.
