The 2026 Annual OAHC Conference calls for experts in home health, homecare, hospice & more to submit presentation proposals by Nov. 1

OREGON—The Oregon Association for Home Care (OAHC) announced it is calling for submissions of presentation proposals for its 2026 Annual Conference and education workshops. This will be a competitive process, and abstracts will be evaluated on their relevance to practice and appropriateness for the target audience. While all abstracts may not be accepted for the annual conference, they may be considered for another aspect of OAHC educational programming for the year.

Home health, homecare and hospice providers, partners, associates, vendors and consultants are encouraged to participate as faculty for the conference or education workshops/webinars. In prepping their materials, presenters are encouraged to not only provide information that is applicable to the industry in 2026, but also to look ahead to 2027 and beyond.

Topics of interest for the 2026 conference and workshops include, financial reimbursement and documentation, artificial intelligence, veteran programs and relations, wound care, motivational interviewing, the homecare waiver program, dementia care, retention strategies and burnout, hospice outcomes & patient evaluations (HOPE), value-based purchasing and payer relations.

The organization said these are suggestions and not meant to limit submission in anyway. All sessions are 60-90 minutes in length. Absolutely no commercial sales or marketing presentations of any kind will be permitted.

If you would like to submit a proposal, please complete the call for presentations form and return to the OAHC office by November 1, 2025. The conference will be held April 16-17, 2026 in Salem, Oregon.
