WEST DES MOINES, Iowa—OneroRx, an integrated pharmacy serving underserved markets, announced it has completed its acquisition of 14 NuCara pharmacies and 10 home medical equipment locations in Iowa and Minnesota, bringing its total to 91 locations across eight Midwest states, employing more than 1,000 team members.
OneroRx operates as the largest franchisee of the Medicap Pharmacy brand owned by Cardinal Health.

This mission began with our founder, John Pappajohn, who served on the OneroRx Board of Directors from 2018 until his passing in 2023.”
OneroRx's services include prescription delivery, medication synchronization, multi-dose packaging, 24/7 kiosk access, compounding services, critical support for long-term-care patients and home medical equipment.
Acquired NuCara locations will be newly branded as Medicap Pharmacy or Medicap Home Medical. This process has started and will continue over the next several weeks.
