DENVER—Modivcare, a provider of non-emergency medical transportation, personal care services and monitoring solutions, announced the appointment of Marshalina “Marsha” Ramos as chief executive officer of its personal care services business, effective immediately.
Ramos is a registered nurse and holds a doctor of nursing practice and a master of science in nursing. She serves on the boards of the Home Care & Hospice Association of New Jersey and the New Jersey Collaborating Center for Nursing. She is based in New Jersey.

Ramos brings more than 30 years of homecare leadership experience spanning clinical, operational and executive roles. She most recently served as founder and CEO of Visionary Group, LLC, an advisory firm serving homecare and hospice organizations. She also served as president and chief operating officer of Premier Home Health Care Services, Inc., a multi-state homecare provider and held a number of senior roles at VNS Health, one of the nation’s largest providers of in homecare. She joins Modivcare’s executive leadership team and will lead the company’s national PCS portfolio.

At Premier, Ramos oversaw homecare, care management and consumer-directed programs across seven states and 27 offices, stabilized referral relationships, grew census and led the company’s transition to a new electronic medical record platform. Ramos spent 26 years at VNS Health advancing from clinical intake to vice president of operations with responsibility for certified homecare services across the organization’s regional offices.
