ROUND ROCK, Texas—Inferenz, a healthcare AI and data solutions company, announced the general availability of its Hospice Eligibility AI Agent, a new addition to the company's Caregence agentic AI platform built for healthcare providers.
The agent automates the referral eligibility screening and admission prioritization workflows used during the hospice intake process.

The Hospice Eligibility Agent joins a broader set of Caregence AI agents aiming to help providers reduce caregiver burden and move toward value-based care, including AI agents for prior authorization, revenue cycle management, predictive caregiver-to-patient matching and real-time risk analysis. Built on an interoperable, model context protocol-based architecture, every agent connects to a provider's existing electronic health record, customer relationship management or intake portal without requiring a system migration.
