BURKBURNETT, Texas—HomeWell Care Services, a national provider of non-medical homecare, has been recognized by Franchise Business Review (FBR) as a Top Franchise for Women for 2026, marking HomeWell’s first year to earn this distinction.
“We’re incredibly honored to receive this award because it reflects our belief that there’s no limit to what women can build,” said Crystal Franz, CEO of HomeWell Franchising. “We’ve worked diligently to create a system where women have the tools and resources to feel empowered and supported in their careers. This recognition truly belongs to each of our female franchisees, who have put tremendous time and energy into providing meaningful, purpose-driven care to families in their communities. That’s the kind of impact we’re proud to stand behind.”
HomeWell was among 320 franchise brands, representing nearly 8,550 female franchise owners, that participated in Franchise Business Review’s research on the Top Franchises for Women. To qualify, franchisees were surveyed on 33 benchmark questions about their experience and satisfaction regarding critical areas of their franchise systems, including leadership, training and support, financial opportunity and work/life balance.
“For women exploring the path to business ownership—whether full-time or part-time—franchising opens a world of real, achievable opportunity,” said Michelle Rowan, president of Franchise Business Review. “But with a vast landscape of options out there, due diligence is everything. Before committing to any brand, women should take a close look at what current female franchisees are actually experiencing: the quality of training and support, work/life balance, earning potential, company culture and the strength of leadership."
