SARASOTA, Fla. (Sept. 8, 2014)—Harmar is pleased to announce the launch of three new products at the National Association of Elevator Contractors (NAEC) 65th Annual Convention and Exposition, which took place Sept. 8-11 at the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center in San Antonio. Harmar’s new products include the Vantage Stairlift; the Highlander Hydraulic/Modular Commercial Vertical Platform Lift (CPL) and a new Everest Series of Residential Elevators.

The Vantage Stairlift is the company’s next-generation offering in the mid-market straight stairway lift segment. It is a simple, smooth unit designed with 20 percent fewer parts than comparable stairlifts. It features a rack and pinion drive system, energy efficient power and comfortable upholstered seat. The Vantage is non-handed for rapid installation and has minimal service requirements.

The Highlander Hydraulic/Modular CPL is designed to be easily assembled into an existing shaftway. The modular design configures 2- or 4-feet sections to achieve landing heights ranging from 4 to 14 feet. The hydraulic lifting system provides smooth, reliable power for capacities up to 750 lbs.

Harmar’s Everest Series of elevators includes two residential models: a Winding Drum model and a Roped-Hydraulic model. It also includes a Limited Use/Limited Application model for commercial applications. Everest Elevators feature capacities up to 950 pounds. and a variety of cab sizes, options and finishes.

Also on display from Harmar at NAEC will be Harmar’s Pinnacle Stairlift with folding rail – the industry’s most compact model; the Helix Curved Stairlift—a custom solution for simple to complex stair cases; and the 4’ Toe Guard Vertical Platform Lift with an Express Deck.
