The new Patriot LX homecare bed is 30 pounds lighter than our current Patriot homecare bed and there are absolutely no moving parts in the headboard or footboard. This unique design will offer Homecare Providers a bed that is easier to deliver, set up and maintain, making the bed’s lifetime cost in use one of the lowest in the industry,” said Counts.
The Patriot LX base model features a low maintenance single motor to provide semi-electric functionality. Since the headboard and footboard contain no moving parts, their new furniture look greatly enhances the bed’s style and makes it less obtrusive in the home. The unique grid deck provides proper support for an extensive selection of mattresses, alternating pressure pads and low air loss systems to accommodate a number of home based pressure management therapies. Patient safety rails and several bed/ mattress packages will be available.
